This outline is provided as an example of what you will prepare on your subtopic of the team project. On Feb 5 we will assign teams and topics, and you need to discuss the main topic and come up with subtopics for each of the team members. Here is an example:

Main topic: Multiple Cropping Systems

Subtopics:

Different types of multiple cropping and where are they practiced

Natural resource use in multiple cropping systems

Labor requirements for multiple cropping systems

Marketing potentials for products from multiple cropping

Resilience of multiple cropping systems in times of climate change

When you have decided which person on the team will do each subtopic, you will each research that area and prepare a brief 'expanded outline' with references; this is more than just a word or two. Share this with others on the team, so you can compare outlines to look for overlap among subtopics, or to add important items that were left out. We will have time in class on Feb 7 for you to meet in a breakout room and discuss your shared outlines. These are due on Feb 21 and you should submit them separately on Canvas. See this example:

The next step is to write your individual report, and again share this with team members for critique and suggestions. Your individual reports are due on April 14. See the example that follows in the Module:

Then the reports are aggregated into one team report, written clearly in one voice; this is more than just cut and paste, as it needs an overall introduction, then the subtopic sections, an overall conclusion, and a combined reference list. These are due on April 18, and you will present projects the following week. Ask Chuck, Ali, or Carrie if you have questions.
